A tumble dryer is a household appliance designed to dry laundry quickly and in a controlled way after washing. It circulates warm air through a rotating drum and removes moisture, using either a set time or a humidity sensor to manage the drying process.
Dryers help save space (no drying racks needed), reduce indoor humidity, and often decrease wrinkling thanks to dedicated programs. The main types are condenser dryers (water collected in a tank or drained away) and heat pump dryers (more energy-efficient).
